Newbie informationFirst off all, welcome to the world of making money online. This is indeed an exciting experience, knowing that you can get paid to surf the net, be online and other things that's Internet related. I hope that you will have the same feelings as I do and that we will all be able to make as much as me or other people have. Now, the first question that you are probably asking is "How does this all work?". Well let me tell you. When you visit one of these pay-to-program sites, you need to sign up to use their service. When you sign up, you download a type of software (in most cases it's called a viewbar), or get put on a waiting list for one. What this software does is showing banner ads for you. If you see an ad that you like, you are encouraged to do so. When you connect to or surf the internet, the companies then track how long you use the viewbar software, and pay you accordingly. They also track how many people you get to sign up under you (refferals) and pay you for their time. This truly is a community of people making money online. Now you may be asking the following: "Is this a scam?". I would like to assure you that this is not a scam. You buy nothing, you sell nothing, you lose nothing. You only gain. Advertisers are really dependant on consumers like you to keep them alive, and they will bend to any means possible to reach you. Now that you are on your way to make money online, I guess you would like to know how you get paid. When you sign up, you provide them with your name and mailing address. This is so they know where to send the checks. When you aquire a certain dollar amount (to cut down on bank fees), they will send you a check. There may also be some preference questions or a short survey. This is to provide the advertisers with information for targeted advertising and for when they decide to support the paid to company. And that's about it. Again, I welcome you to the make money online world. If you still have any questions, please check out the Frequently Asked Questions.
